On 11/22, we prepared a British style dinner. Madeline and Isabel have studied British geography and culture for the past 4 months. We all learned so much! We learned to identify many major cities and landmarks on our AAA roadmap. We also studied C.S. Lewis, Shakespeare, Churchill, Queen Elizabeth II and the Beatles, just to name a few (Madeline has already determined that her favorite Beatle is Paul). After all this work, Madeline planned a menu including potato & parsnip soup, soda bread, English trifle and Prince of Wales tea. According to the kids, the tea did not taste too terrible with lots of cream and sugar.
